I keep getting a pop up asking me to update to Norton AV 2.0 before my subscription expires. It all looks above board but I'm a bit apprehensive about proceeding. Any advice? Thanks.

Yes - it's around October I think and pops up when I'm connected.
Does it genuinely look like it's from Norton?
October seems a bit early to be reminding you.

It may be worth running a spyware checker just to be on the safe side.
why would malware try to persuade you to buy norton?

if you're happy with the package ... go for it

mine would be to ditch it when it runs out and get kaspersky internet security suite
ACtheTROLL never could spell Eset correctly...
I assume you click on it expecting to get Norton and it downloads a load of cr@p to your PC.

That's what I'd do if I were to make a malware program.

I struggled for a few days last week trying to get rid of a Microsoft 2008 antivirus pop up and I just wondered if there was a connection between the two. I'll try the spyware, thanks.
