javascript within layers and div tags

hi

we have built a web page that has layer and div tags to place them exactly where we want them on the screen. however when we have then use some javascript to make the images move to denote they are a link it refuses to move.

can anyone help?. is it possible to put javascript within a layered div tag.

should we publish ti so someone could maybe have a look and see where we are going wrong.

i am also afraid to say time is of the essence, so any quick help is very very welcomed. let us know if we need topublish to show.
