I can anyone help me i have just got myself a new iphone and i am having troublle with the photos it downloaded from my computer the problem is there is no way to delete these photos can anybody please help thanks
you know that the iPhone 3g is coming out very soon, for less money right?
regardless: you can only erase photos you've taken with iphone's camera on the device. Other photos are being synced with iTunes -- change the photo sync settings when you connect iPhone to stop certain photos syncing.
Hi f03nix the photos i have taken myself they can be deleted when you view them at the bottom oof the screen there is a delete bin but the 520 it has taken from my computer there is no delete bin thanks very much
Put the photos onto your computer via whatever method you like -- software that came with the camera, or a multi-card reader, or whatever.
Then, connect your iPod and fire up iTunes. When you connect the iPod, there'll be a tab for photos, and you can specify to add your own photos. Choose the folder with your photos in it, and sync your iPod.

Yes you're right you can't delete them.
You just can't do it. They're there for viewing.
If you want them off the iPhone, you need to remove them via iTunes. Click the photos tab when you connect your iPhone, and there'll be a choice of options as to where it gets your photos from. It may be set to just get everything from "My Photos" if you're on Windows. If you don't like this, use iTunes to be more specific by choosing a different folder with just the photos you want.
