problems with reading attachments to e-mail

i cannot read attachments to my e-mails.if i select run the attachment tries to load and then stops and if i save the attachment windows cannot find the file

David,
when in the Save mode, -BEFORE you click the final Save button, change the destination of the save to say your desktop. This can be done from the top box in that window marked 'save In'

Also, opening the attachment requires you to have a program installed that can open such attachments. e.g. a Word document requires Word . . .
