im a bit stuck with installing a dvdrw

i want to install a second dvdrw drive to my pc but i only have one audio cable from my motherboard one drive doesnt record so do i need the audio cable for this if im not recording with it?

just connect the power and the big 40 way ribbon cable

look on the back of the drive you are removing .... there should be links and a label explaining the link positions .... master \slave \ csel

then if slave (for instance) ... make sure the new drive is a slave also
(the jumper positions may vary (look on the back of the new drive for diagram)
I second that, I've never used any audio cable and never had a problem.

sorry guys but if im keeping the old drive and installing a new one as a secondary drive do i need to use one as a slave? also does anyone know of a decent free spyware and adware remover?
