Unrecognisable drive

We have installed a LG 8164B drive in our computer, but it seems that when we are using Nero version 6.6.0.8 it does not read this drive, although the computer does. Can anyone help please? Thanks!

DId you install nero before or after you installed the drive?
try re-installing nero.
