PC Game Won't Work

I just bought Rollercoaster Tycon2 but when i try to play it (afterive installed) it loads to the main title page then exits everytime. I've ended processes in the task manager thingie but it didn't help, also there is quite a lot of memory left on the PC so I'm really stuck. Any suggestions?

Did you check that the game was compatible for your PC?

how do u know if it compatible is or not ?

It will say on the box something like:

Operating system: XP
Minimum memory: 64Mb
Disk space required: 50 Mb

and things like that. They should match your computer.

yep they all match up ok....

Do you need to reboot once you've installed it? I assume it is a genuine version of the game and not a copy?

hmm it didn't say anything about it, but it has been restarted since i installed it.
and it's a genuine copy.....

I'm not sure in that case. You could try uninstalling it and reinstalling again just in case something went wrong first time round.

Have you tried a Rollercoaster ****** forum? Maybe other people are having the same trouble.
