Why am I able to 'save' some pages from AB and not others.?

I like to download, temporarily, pages in which I am involved, in order to read them 'off-line'and compose my thoughts for further postings.

Perhaps I am being 'penny pinching' because of my ISP account which is 'pay as you go', and averages about 10/15. per month. Maybe I could do better.!.......Ron.

P.S. This is a twofold question from a poor O.A.P.!!!

I don't know why you can't save some pages. Very odd.

I use Firefox as my browser, and use a nifty little add on called scrapbook. I can quickly 'capture' page to it, and organise it however I like.

As for your ISP - I pay 10 per month flat rate for Virgin broadband. I am truly penny pinching, because as soon as I had broadband and had Skype, I cancelled my land line telephone - saving at least 11 per month in line rental alone.

I use Skype for incoming and outgoing calls, and occasionally my pay as you go mobile.

Good afternoon Ethel......Thanks for having responded to my question.

I'm still not too sure about Broadband. I like to feel that I can pick up my 'laptop' and use it anywhere; which I don't think is the case with a Broadband set-up.

Regarding saving pages from AB. Ido think that, ocassionally there is something wrong with a page which prevents it being downloaded. For instance, whilst I can save the present page, I am unable to do likewise with the following; on neither my 'laptop' or 'desktop' computer.

It would be interesting to know if you are able to download it.....Best wishes.....Ron
