When I watch a tv show or a film from the tv link site it takes a while to download but after it has, I can watch it again and again without any download occuring. This leads me to believe that it is stored somewhere on the computer for a period of time. However, eventually, after a day or two or something I will have to download the same show/film again from scratch. Is there any way to keep it on the computer permanently? I was told one other time to make the file .flv or something but it didn't work, maybe cos I did'nt do it right. Can anyone help me with this?

Normally these will be stored in your Temporary Internet Files folder, probably in C:\Documents And Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files.

If you sort this folder by file size the larger files, like these videos, should be all together at the end.

You should then copy these to another folder to stop them being deleted when the temporary files 'expire' or if you delete them.

Depend on the type of video file, you may need to also download a specific player for that format.
