I am building a website that will provide digital products i.e. software, e-books, videos and photos. How can I make it so customers can pay for the product and then recive the download automatically. Ideally the soloution should be free or charge me on per download basis. Or create mebership areas for my private content.
P.S
I live in Scotland UK and am waiting on a refung from my hoasting company 1and1 becuse it was too hard to use any advice about choosing the right hoasting would greatly apreciated.

I would recommend an e-commerce solution such as CubeCart (it's free, you can pay for a licence but if you're happy with 'Powered by CubeCart' at the bottom of the site then there's no need to part with a single penny!)

I've set up CubeCart for several clients and it's fairly straightforward to use.

I do offer hosting myself (which comes with automatic installation of CubeCart!) - if you need any further help, drop me a line! matt @ mfwebhosting dot com (ignoring the spaces and writing 'dot' as a full stop!!!!!)
