Graphics card Drivers conflict
I have a Motherboard with an on-board graphics card, The M/B is an ASUS type VIA S3G (I think) I recently bought a new ASUS N6200 VGA plug in graphics card to try to improve my gaming, but there seems to be a conflict when I attempt to load the Drivers, and I have to revert to the original on-board card. The instruction manual says I must uninstall the current drivers before loading the new ones, but I'm worried that if it doesn't work or fails sometime in the future I cant revert to the original drivers because I can't properly identify them from the ASUS site, and I can't copy them to a disc (they seem to be protected) Any ideas which way forward chaps. You need to disable the onboard graphics function before installing the new graphics card.
You do this by entering the BIOS set up.once in the BIOS you will find that there will be a setting which is the memory allocation for the graphics. Turn the device off or set allocation to zero.
Uninstall existing drivers. Fit your new graphic card and install the drivers.
The onboard graphics drivers will be on the motherboard CD which you should have got with the PC or motherboard if you installed that separately.
If you haven't got this cd then should you have problems you could download the drivers from the motherboard manufacturers website.If you are really worried do this before uninstalling current drivers
