setup router msn wont work?

setup my wireless belkin router and now i cant get in2 msn 2 see my buddies it keeps sayin try again later any ideas guys???

Sounds like you've blocked the port it's trying to use, though normally it gets through on the web port anyway.

Have you turned on any firewall or port-blocking features?

Same goes for any software firewall you may be running: have you changed that?

how do i know if ive blocked a port? and i dnt have firewalls switched on so not sure if that will affect it! any ideas???

port number 1873

setup as says in manual ....

Actroll its a belkin wireless Dsl/cable gateway router (F5D77230-4) m8 any ideas where i change the port as im quite new 2 all this but got a fair idea if helpd along lol

I sometimes have the same problems as you with msn and i don't use a belkin router i either press reset on my router or turn it off for a couple of mins then back on.
This seems to work......
