I'm trying to install a HP 2575 printer to my laptop but when using the installation software, I keep getting an error message something like "Registration Key not accepted" or something similar also some message about the OS not been compatible? The printer was purchased brand new and the laptop OS is Windows Vista home edition. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Many Thanks

Vista may not support the printers software yet... Go online type in you model printer number and Vista update. There should be some sort of Vista update allowing the software to work probably but if there isn't then i suggest you make another account with windows xp if this is possible. Basically its Vistas fault. Hope this helps.
Hi Chippy
Have you tried HP's website ? If not, pay it a visit, click support/downloads/software /drivers. It should come up with drop down menus where you can select your OS and printer and the current software/driver download for your printer. Don't try 'phoning HP - their support centre is in Asia and is about as much use as a chocolate teapot !
Good luck
