networking with Windows Vista

I'm trying to network a new pc with vista on it, so i can share a printer with one that has win 2000 on it but im having no luck at all. The vista pc doesnt see the other w2k one at all and on the w2k one its in the workgroup but when you click on it you just get an error saying it cannot be found. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
