Does you husband actually have an e-mail account with your ISP?

no but I have. Been told you can add multiple addresses to one account. eg: [email protected]
[email protected]
aslong as it was the same after the @ could have anything before. But can't seem to get it to work.
It sounds as if you're trying to set up a separate account, which you can't do. You've only got one account with Orange (formerly Freeserve) but it should operate on a 'catch all' basis. You can then configure Outlook to send your mail to individual folders.

If your own e-mail address is [email protected], your username, with Orange/Freeserve, is 'futritcat.co.uk'. (i.e., the 'mary' part is ignored). Mail addressed to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] should reach your Inbox without you needing to add or change anything within Outlook. (i.e. you'll be using the same account, not creating a new one).

If you don't want your mail to end up in the same Inbox as your hubby's, you need to create separate folders (e.g. 'Mary's Mail' and 'John's Mail') and then use the 'Message Rules' to route mail into the appropriate folders.
