Hi sorry about the spelling but can any peeps out there can tell me why is it that when I pres thr f5 button on my desktop it refrechs the screen |(sorry sbout spelling again ) and when I do that on me laptop it dont do that do you have to asign the f5 button to do that on your laptop as I thought it was universal pressing f5 to refresh

If your laptop has the extended function keys (as per some multimedia keyboards) it will default to the keys having their extended functions, so you will need to switch to standard keys before you can use them in standard mode. This is another of those stupid MS ideas, where the things you use least often become the default!
