This morning I tried to install the drivers for my camera. Halfway through the installation I received the following message. "The software you are installing for this hardware has not passed the Windows Logo Testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP".

Can anyone tell me how I can resolve this problem and get the download to work?

Thanks.

It's a common problem found when you try to use Win98 drivers on WinXP. If you 'Continue Anyway' it could mess up your XP. Look on your camera manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers. If they don't have any, ask their advice on using the drivers with XP - sometimes a Win98 driver will work, despite the warning.
It doesn't necessarily mean that the drivers have not been designed for XP - merely that the manufacturer did not submit them for certification by Microsoft. If the documentation says they are for XP, just select the "Continue anyway" option.
