Locking programs to XP desktop

Hi, im currently trying to tweak my desktop so it will be a lazy mans dream but ive run into a problem.

I wish to lock a couple of programs (i.e trillion) on to my desktop so when I hit the desktop button all my programs will be minimised except for the select few that i want pinned to my desktop and never move or minimise.
At the moment all my windows minimise.

does anybody know anyway I could have this function without "always on top" involved?

Why is PC RAM so bl**dy expensive?
