What is this? S3TrayPlus utility
Ive noticed a new icon has appeared next to the clock on my computer (S3TrayPlus utility) from S3 Screen Toys. Its says that its a tool to change my display settings. What I would like to know is it safe to delete from my system and if not what would I use this tool for? Is it Adware, Malware or a Trojan that has been downloaded and my firewall has missed? Any advice would be very gratefully recieved

Have you recently installed a video card, or maybe updated the drivers?
Sounds like a utility for your S3 video card. If so, it's harmless, and you might just want to leave it there.
You can't delete an item directly from the system tray (the area by the clock) as it is not a shortcut, but represents an interface to a running program.
If you really don't want it there, try right-clicking and you may get a configuration option where you can tell it not to start with windows.
