Playing WMV files on a Mac

How can I play WMV files on my girlfriend's Mac PowerBook? I got an email attachment but couldn't get any of the standard inbuilt software to play it. Is there a Winamp for Mac, or something similar? I've had a look online but drew a blank. Is there a 'no Windows files' exclusion on Macs? Thanks!
