Seen a gadget for sale on ebay which allows you to just plug in a usb device and watch freeview on a pc/laptop. Is it as simple as this or do I need to buy a tv card etc.
Has anybody got one and more to the point do they work

Cheers

I have one which works just fine.

Don't forget to plug your tv aerial into it.

Thanks Ethel, these are the ones i`ve been looking at but it nebtions you dont need an outdoor aerial nor a pci card.
They generally say in the adverts for these devices that a portable aerial is provided. However unless you live in an area witha very strong signal you will need to use an indoor aerial
Mine does not have a card - it is just connected to the usb.

It has it's own aerial, but is rubbish without connecting to my roof aerial.
