xdcards in digital camera

i have a 1gb xd card in my camera, and i have a lexmarkp4350printer one of those all in one things, when i put the xd card in the printer it comes up with a memeory card error message i didnt have this problem when i had a 512 card. is there any way i can get rid of this message and access my photos of the camera apart from plugging int the computer

Just a thought, will the printer accept 1gb cards. I know some cameras won't so it could be the same for printers. There could be too much info there for it to download.
Like I said I don't know, it's just a thought.
