Free Screensaver Maker?

I need a screensaver maker that is freeware or free for educational use. I want to show a slideshow of images. Can anyone help?

Can't remember if this is on all versions of Windows, but on XP you can go into Control Panel> Appearances and Themes> Choose a Screensaver then select "My Pictures Slideshow" from the options. If you click on settings, there are a number of options to fiddle with (including choosing which folder it is using for the pictures).

In that case, try here: http://www.freesaver.com/ . Go to Categories> Make Your Own, and you should find something suitable.

Around 6 months ago I used a program called Eclipse Screensaver from Active Media. Downloaded the the trial version from either PC Plus web-page or ZDNET (can't remember which but that's the two I regularly use). Had all the photos of the kids scanned or saved already and within a couple of hours had two fairly decent Screensavers. (Tip - make sure you keep the individual image files as small as possible)
