Unless you are a huge company with a massive turnover I would use PayPal.

https://www.paypal.com/

You can use it for debit cards and credit cards. Make sure you understand the fees first.

WorldPay (http://www.worldpay.co.uk) is an internet payment solution and is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group. I have used these with one of my businesses, and was pleased with their performance.
Have a look at Romancart http://www.romancart.com/

The shopping cart facility is free, from memory an encrypted credit card payment facility is about 50 per annum but check their website
