i am using ntl broadband to go online and i am going through msn, all i am running on the internet is ebay in the original window and the answer bank in a new window.

it must take about 30 seconds for my page to turn/refresh!

please keep the answers as plain as possible, i am not a comp genius.... ala the question!

how much RAM does your computer have? (right-click my computer, and click properties. it'll tell you at the bottom)

Does it go slow on all sites, or are others faster? TheAnswerbank is often fairly slow to load.

Definatly sounds like spyware. Ill bet your connection levels are high even when not surfing the web.

Try AdAware and do a full scan. its free.

i will try the adaware as you said!

are you using windows XP?

your ram sounds pretty low to me. definitely if you use XP.

could be spyware too, as bob a job suggests, but i'm not so sure.
Try this start/run/type in "prefetch" delete all sites. Its worked for me also you need more memory
