I've been trying unsuccessfully to find an easily readable black font with a white outline for video subtitling. Does anyone know where I might be able to find such a font to download?

If you can see an example of the font you need, scan an image of it and upload it to this site here Not sure where you might find an example... possibly in a publication about editing videos?

Once you've uploaded the scan, you'll be directed to the closest match in their database, and if they can't help they have a forum where "cloak-draped font enthusiasts around the world will help you out!"

I've discovered a Canadian website totally devoted to the problems of finding a suitable font for subtitling. Ideally, I would have liked to have read it all and, hopefully, have been able to point you in the right direction to download a suitable font. Unfortunately it's late and I really shouldn't be finishing this bottle of wine - so all my slightly befuddled brain will let me do is post the link to the main site:

Hoping this helps,

Chris
