If you mean pictures in a powerpoint presentation you should just right click on the picture and then you can copy and paste to another programme or 'save picture as...'

If you mean the whole screen showing the picture plus layout etc then use the 'print screen button' and copy to another programme (Word) where you can save ti.

Thankyou for your trouble alan30, i cant get either of these to work however
The print screen option certainly should work as I've used it myself, but right click during a presentation will always give you options for the presentation, not copy paste etc. Least wise it never has done on mine. Don't forget to use shift button at same time as print screen

I take it that you are using a PC and not a Mac?

Camioneur, why would you want to use SHIFT? Just pressing the PrintScreen key captures the whole screen. Using Alt-PrintScreen, however, will capture just the active window.

Druiaghtagh, after PrintScreen, make sure that you copy straight into another application as alun30 said. I tend to paste into Paintshop Pro so that I can save the picture for later. I also use Word to print them out though.

I have had no trouble using Alt+print screen.

I then launch Paint.

Choose EDIT then PASTE

The screen print then appears!
