System error on Win xp sp 2 with error code 0000009c

hi, i have built a pc so im able to play Day of Defeat Source, but very often when i play it, the screen freezes, then the pc re-boots completely, and then when it gets back to desktop it says the system has recovered from a serious error. When i look at the event viewer i get the following codes:-

Don't know much about the error but SP2 has got more faults and errors than Starbug from Red Dwarf.
Try doing a clean start up, go to start,run,type in "msconfig" you can then choose the start up you want, play about with this till you get what you need,you can all ways put it back to how it was.
Firstly, ensure all drivers are up to date.

Also found this :

have stopped the crashing by dropping the hyerthreading in the bios to 800 instead of 1000

AMD aren't HT compatible I thought, though they probably have an equivalent. It's worth a try.

Other than that, unplug various devicesand retry. You'll find the culprit eventually.
