Windows 10 - Keyboard Changes

I installed W10, and it changed the result of some key depressions. For example, the " and @ have changed places. Shift and 2 should give me "; that's where I now find @. How do I change which key gives me what result please?

Your Keyboard language layout is set as US, so you need to change to UK.

Thanks. Typing this on my iPad in bed; laptop downstairs in lounge, so we'll wait until the morning to try these solutions.
MS is an American company so assumes that their whole world of customers are American. After all, why would they choose to be anything else ?
