It's working on here now, thank goodness, anyone any idea why that should have happened?

Are the ads embedded into the page or are they appearing as pop-ups?

That-which-shall-not-be-mentioned-here only deals with former. Run Malwarebytes Antimalware to get rid of pop-ups, etc.
