Can someone please recommend a printer/scanner for a. Pavilion laptop?

The current 'best buy' in Computer Active magazine is the Canon Pixma MG4250. (Around £50 in Currys/PC World, John Lewis, Argos, etc):

However that printer has all of the coloured inks in a single cartridge, which can work out more expensive when replacing inks. My own preference would be to pay a tenner more for the MG5550, which uses separate cartridges:

(I actually use a Canon Pixma MG5350, which I'm extremely pleased with, but that model has now been discontinued. The MG5550 is very similar).

Yes, at 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution.

booger, when i bought my new printer, Canons didn't do airprint! I really like them, think the quality and reliability is second to none.
