I do not know in practical terms what the difference is but here goes:
I connect to the internet via an O2 mobile dongle. When it is operating in 4G mode it flashes green and when in 3G mode, blue. Mine turned blue half an hour ago but I have noticed absolutely no difference in terms of speed &c. Why does it change and why no apparent difference?
