Having Problems With Watching Tv Live Or On Catch Up On My Computer Recently

Can't seem to get the main channels live or on catch up on my computer recently; I can select the programme, it starts and after a few minutes the screen fragments into what looks like a load of skyscrapers and that's it.

Any ideas why?
