Mcafee Firewall Won't Turn On

Help please. I have recently renewed my subscription to Mcafee
I've just had a message come up to say that my computer was at risk - when I went to Mcafee it said that the real time scanning and firewall were both off.
It let me turn the scanning back on but when I click "turn on" on the firewall it immediately goes back to off.
Have I got a virus?

....... While I was typing this question into my iPad the real time scanning has also just turned itself off.
Doesn't look good does it!!
