does anyone know how i can get to the menu where i can turn on the turbo for my i5 processor it is a hp pavilion 500 windows 8 if any relevance

not yet, haha. i press the f2 and it goes diagnostics, couldnt get on to a menu with bios

Try pressing F1 and holding it for a few seconds.
