I have recently started using a TeckNet Cordless Optical Mouse Model M002 which is excellent except that it has 2 orange switches just above where my thumb fits ( 1 to flip back & 1 to flip forward) & because of my Arthritic thumb I am constantly losing the page I am on when using the mouse. Does anyone know of a way of stopping these switches from working & saving my sanity please ?

You should be able to open the settings to the mouse and assign different features to the buttons and switches.
If possible, set the bothersome buttom to 'nothing'.
Download this little piece of software, you can program them however you want, volume buttons etc
