I am considering purchasing an Ipad Mini and want to use it to view E books from staffordshire's on line library.

I recently purchased a Kobo Arc but had to return it as I was unable to download any E books from Staffordshire library.

Can anyone advise whether I will be able to download straight to Ipad mini or whether I will need additional software.

Any help anyone can give to this frustrated pensioner will be appreciated.

It looks like you might need to download a suitable app (such as Bluefire Reader) first, and install Adobe Digital Editions, but it should work OK:

You would be best to ask advice from the library as different authorities may use different methods for lending ebooks. My authority runs ebook surgeries where you can meet with a trained member of staff who will show you step by step how to do it, and answer any questions such as what readers are compatable with their software.
