I have changed all my passwords on my imac mail accounts just in case following the virus message, now nothing works. Everytime I go into the mail and try to get messages it asks me for my password on the accounts and then rejects them all. Any ideas what I can do as can no longer receive emails. Thanks

Sounds like you've changed the password the computer is supplying to the server, but not the password the server is expecting. (It's it bit like a lock and key, you've changed the key but the lock is still expecting the old key and will continue to do so until you change the lock too)

How you change the password on the server depends on who the mail account is with, but generally it would be done via their webpage.

Thanks Chuck, I have managed to sort out two email accounts through the servers but I have two email accounts with Bt, the main one I can get into through the server but I cannot get into the sub account. Anyway thanks for your help.
