Adding music to Windows Movie Maker

I have recently attempted to use Windows Movie Maker to produce a holiday video presentation. However, when adding music to Movie Maker from a CD uploaded to WMP, I cannot get it to play. Can anyone advise me where I might be going wrong please.

You need to 'Rip' the music from the cd to your hard drive. Then import them to Windows Movie Maker.
