I have a Packard Bell desktop PC - Windows 7, Intel Core i3 550 processor, 6GB RAM.

The graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 420 (if any further details are required the you'll have to tell me how to find them). It's fine for general PC usage, and at present I'm not bothered about 3D, but a few games / video editing programs look as though they'd benefit from having something a bit better.

Are there any graphics cards for under £100 that would give me a significantly improved performance? And which are the best websites for buying such hardware?

Thanks in advance.

Nova tech is about the best for service, and price ect.
The GTX 550 Ti is a very good card for gaming.
Also it only needs a relatively low powered PSU of 400 watts although a bit more power would help.
Hopefully your PSU is up to the job.
