Graphics Card worth £30 more?

I'm just about to buy a computer from Dell. I think i know which one I want, just have this question. The two differnt graphic cards are these

Nvidia ® GeForce G310 512MB graphics card
OR
nVidia GeForce GT220 1024MB graphics card : is this one worth £30 more?

I just surf the web,email and watch ocasional dvds, I have a 24inch monitor would the more exspensive one make for a better picture?

I have put a Samsung DVD 22X RW in my pc, but when a Dvd-r disc is inserted, according to My Computer, it is now a CD drive. Getting no help from Samsung or the supplier, apart from return it. Should I have been supplied with a disc to create a driver

For the monitor you have you won't get a better picture in terms of what it looks like.

The more expensive card gives faster graphics processing and will speed up 3D gaming and some graphics intensive Windows functions.

I would just go for the cheaper card if I was you.

ll_billym's right. In fact, for what you are doing, the even the cheaper one will barely be used.
