dell dimension 2400 Reset BIOS? Any Ideas please?

Hiya everyone, can anyone tell me please how you reset the BIOS on one of these please as ive got my sisters here and the bios is all over the place? its not recognising the HDD just the CD/DVD drive? its telling me No drive found?
Ive took the CMOS battery out in fact i replaced it with a new Duracell one although i didnt leave it long till i inserted the new one maybe a few seconds?
There is no Reset to Default in the BIOS so im a bit lost?

Your help would be appreciated..

If it's not recognising the HDD, that would tend to point to a problem with the disk or controller, rather than with the BIOS.
