Samsung D500 sending pictures

I have a samsung D500 and want to send a picture from my mobile to an email address. I have done it in the past when the pic size is less than 100kb. It will not let me send this one as its 101kb!! Any ideas as to what i can do? Is it possible to change the resolution or even increase the amount allowed to be sent?
