Windows 7 - shortcuts to "Connect or Disconnect" items?

I've just defined a VPN connection from my Win 7 machine and it works just fine

Snag is, for convenience I'd like to create a shortcut to it - currently I have to go to the Network and Sharing Center to Connect or Dicsonnect

On XP I could easily create a shortcut

How do I do it in Win 7?

Just drag the icon from the network and sharing center onto your desktop and it'll create a shortcut there.

It didn't BUT if you open Change Adapter Settings - NOW you can create shortcuts

Opps... that's where I thought you were :)

Got there in the end

In Network and Sharing Center; click "Change adapter settings" on the left. Then, right click on your VPN Connection and create the shortcut
