I know I could probably fine these out if I tried by searching online but frankly I can't be bothered! I was thinking about getting the Kindle Keyboard and the main thing that would sway me towards it is to read ejournals and pdf files that I need for uni, would I be able to go onto my uni emails and read pdf files from links that I get provided? Or can the cheaper kindle do this too?

There is no e-mail client on the Kindle.

Yes it does, but Kindle doesn't receive the e-mails. They are sent to Amazon's system which then uses Whispernet to update the Kindle.

There is no method on the Kindle for collecting normal e-mails.
