What 'DSG customer location' means on a parcel tracking website?

I ordered a laptop from PC World for my oh and was horrified to find out they are using Yodel to deliver, when checking their website it just says the above.

TIA

Uh oh. I can't tell you what that means but good luck with getting anything from Yodel. I'm now on bad experience number 4 with them in the space of a month.
Yodel should be on watchdog.......
Actually, DSG could stand for Dixons Store Group who own PC World but it still doesn't make any sense.
Dixons Store Group
I'd have thought it meant your address, as you're the DSG customer.
My grandson told me he wanted a cowboy outfit for Christmas. I will attempt to buy Yodel.

After many years as an Amazon customer I am turning to playdotcom after all the lies and problems I have had from Yodel.......Check out Amazons customer discussion...600 logged compaints in 11 days
599 of them were from me Mick.

I was actually sat in my car with netbook online looking for Yodel when the delivery status changed to....no body at home ......I kniw I should have gone to Specsavers/.
I had a missed delivery and a card through my letter-box from Yodel.

It said that they would attempt redelivery so I rang to ask them to deliver when I knew I would be in. Unfortunately, the delivery-driver had not completed the 'consignment reference number details' and so I couldn't provide any further information apart from my name and address.

The telephone-operative took my number, and rang me back, twice, promptly. Once to ask further details and once to tell me that the package had been left with my neighbour - despite what the driver had written on the card. She was pleasant and efficient and said that the drivers themselves cause most of the difficulties and complaints.
You were lucky then Jack.

I can believe that about the drivers too. I'm pretty sure they don't even bother to try and make the deliveries I've been waiting for. They certainly don't leave any cards to say they have (despite them saying they have). Out of 4 deliveries I've recieved one and that's only because I sat at work until late waiting for it. After waiting over a week for the second one I told them to stick it up their backsides and got my money back. The other two (not ordered by me but being sent to me) are out there somewhere, just where exactly is anyones guess.

Thanks everyone.

I'm not happy that Yodel is the courier for this but nowhere on the PC World site could I find Yodel named.
i have onlyhad 1 experience with them and that was when i had to send my kindle back to amazon somewhere in europe. They collected it on the day they said and they picked it up from where i had left it. I was on tenterhooks till i got an email saying amazon had recieved it back
I've only had one parcel sent to me via Yodel, which I only knew about after it had been returned to the sender. According to Yodel's website, they had tried to deliver it to me three times. I was at home on two of the supposed occasions and no-one came and they left no card on any occasion. I'm still not sure if they took it to the wrong address, although it was addressed properly, or if they just didn't even try to deliver it. Either way, I'd never use them.
I've had problems with Yodel/Amazon. I usually get items delivered to work. This is fine until I go home, even though we have 24 hour security they're not allowed to sign for parcels. This was explained to the Yodel driver by security but rather than attempting redelivery the next day the driver marked it up as 'refused delivery'.

It was then sent back to Amazons hub. Actually the Amazon customers svs were great. Its Yodel that are poo.

i must be the only one who has never had a prob with them, use them a lot
for all sorts of items.
Oh dear...
I had a missed delivery from Yodel today-as I was at work. This for an Amazon item I ordered at midnight on the 13th-it was dispatched yesterday.
They *did* leave a card,I arranged redelivery via their website, and my request has been acknowledged by email. Fingers crossed. I'd never heard of them until now.

I was on a site yesterday that had over 1000 complaints about the company.

The status on the tracking site hasn't changed at all for me, it still says DSG customer location. :(
