"Blocked" senders on Hotmail still contact me!

Does anyone know why I can still receive e-mails from a person on my "blocked senders" list, please?

It's the actual email adddress that's blocked, not the name, so if this person can plant a different email address in his messages, that's how he's getting through. Some email systems or display options let you see the email address that the mail apparently came from, as well as the sender's name.

I think you have missed my point.

When I "block" a sender, surely their e-mail address is subject to the block? However, I still receive e-mails from that "blocked" address.
