Recent browsing history used to re-appear when I started to type into Google search box. This could be useful unless I chose to go to Internet Options and delete it. Now browsing browsing history doesn't appear any more when I start typing and I have to re-type the whole search every time. Does anyone know why this is please and how can I get it to reappear until I decide to delete it? I'm using Windows XP and IE7. Advice appreciated.

Thank you steveryan. I've had a look under Browsing History and settings. It provides options when/how often to check for new versions of stored pages, mine is set at 'automatically', also to save list of websites visited for 7 days. I haven't quite found the answer yet to make recent searches reappear so must do some more exploring.
