I search with Google and used to disable lists of possible search words that appeared, but cannot now find how to do so. For instance if I put A into the search box and list of possible searches beginning with A appears automatically. Something seems to have changed and I cannot find how to stop this happening. Advice appreciated.

Many thanks Gunvard - I found it and clicked on 'Do not provide query predictions in the search box' and it worked. I have saved that page as a favourite in case it's needed again. There used to be 'settings' that served that purpose at the top of Google's opening page but it's not there any more. Very grateful for your quick response.
