How do I encode subtitles onto a DVD? I have used .srt files before when playing back videos on my PC for the subtitles, but nero doesn't recognize the file so I can't put it on disc so how do I hardcode/encode them to the actual film?

The subtitles are encoded into the VOB (DVD) files.
Any DVD author should be able to encode subs at the same time as encoding the mpeg2 components.
Nero9 or later should do subs (but I wouldn't use it)
Use AVS or DVDFlick if you want a free dvd program.

I'm using Nero 10 and can't find a way to do it.

I'll try this program now, does it do .srt files?
